We have six bedrooms to offer, all are unique and different:
 

Room 3
A charming south side room with a double bed and a large shower room.

Room 4
Another south side room with twin beds and a shower room etc.

Room 5
A lovely large country style timbered bedroom with a double Four Poster bed, shower room etc.

Room 6
A half-timbered room with double bed, shower room etc.

Room 7 & 9
Two beautiful large sea view rooms, both with two deep windows overlooking Arklow Bay and the coast line. Each with a double and a single bed, shower room etc.

COST
All rooms are 45 euro per person sharing.
 

NOTE
Rooms 7 & 9 if three persons sharing the cost is 40 euro pps (= approx £30). Single occupancy is 60 euro (= approx £45).

Sheepwalk House was built in 1727 and was owned by the Earl of Wicklow, who chose this site from his vast estate because it commanded a magnificent view of the sea and the harbour town of Arklow.

The valley below the house was the encampment of the Puritan Army in 1649 and Cromwell's stone stands in the garden to commemorate this event.

Sheepwalk House was also the birthplace of Daniel Murray in 1768, who became Archbishop of Dublin from 1823 to 1852. Although the house has been extended and re-styled many times over the years, it still retains all of its charm and most of its original features, the sweeping staircase, cast iron fireplaces and the shuttered windows.

The house has been tastefully upgraded to the highest standards, with a combination of antique and modern furniture. All rooms are ensuite, with television and tea/coffee facilities.
